UC300ETH + C94 Ethernet CNC Controller Bundle

This bundle is the UC300ETH-5LPT Ethernet motion controller already installed on the C94 multifunction breakout board. You get 6-axis Ethernet motion control for UCCNC, Mach3, or Mach4, plus screw terminals, optoisolated inputs, three relays, 0-10V spindle speed control, and hardware E-stop and charge-pump safety, all on one DIN-mountable assembly that runs from a single 10-30VDC supply. It is the lowest-cost complete UC300ETH control package we offer.

Quick Answer

  • What it is: The UC300ETH Ethernet CNC motion controller and the C94 multifunction breakout board, shipped as one assembled unit.
  • What it does: Replaces the PC parallel port with Ethernet motion control up to 400kHz on up to 6 axes, and gives you clean terminal wiring for drives, switches, probe, E-stop, VFD, and accessories.
  • Best for: New UCCNC, Mach3, or Mach4 control cabinets for CNC routers, plasma tables, lasers, and mill retrofits on stepper or step/direction servo drives.
  • Why the bundle: Controller and board are matched and pre-installed, and the bundle costs less than buying the two separately.
  • Important: You still need motor drivers, a 10-30VDC power supply, CNC software and license, wiring, and your machine's switches and spindle hardware.

What Is Included?

  • UC300ETH-5LPT Ethernet CNC Motion Controller: 6 axes, up to 400kHz step frequency, 49 digital inputs, 36 digital outputs, 2 analog inputs, 2 analog outputs, RJ45 Ethernet to the control PC. Installed on the C94.
  • C94 UC300ETH Multifunction CNC Breakout Board: Screw terminals for 6 axes of step and direction, 18 optoisolated 5-24V inputs, 16 outputs including four 60V/2A open-collector outputs, 3 relays, PWM-based 0-10V spindle control, E-stop, safety charge pump, driver-fault input, and 3 IDC26 expansion ports.
  • Manual and setup files: C94 user's manual, UCCNC profile installer, Mach3 sample XML, UC utility and plugin, all linked below.

This Bundle or the UC300ETH + C76 Bundle?

Both bundles use the same UC300ETH controller and the same port layout, relays, spindle control, and charge pump. The difference is the breakout board underneath it.

  • UC300ETH + C94 (this bundle): Fixed screw terminals, heavier 60V/2A open-collector outputs, lower price. The right call for stepper routers, plasma tables, and lasers.
  • UC300ETH + C76: Adds VFD-fault monitoring, 5V high-speed encoder inputs, pluggable terminals, and RJ45 drive cabling through C34 connector boards. The right call for servo builds, spindle encoders, and production cabinets.

Why This Bundle Makes Sense

The UC300ETH on its own is five 26-pin headers. It has no screw terminals, no relays, no spindle speed output, and no charge pump. The C94 adds all of that and carries the controller on its own footprint, so the whole motion-control section of your cabinet is one part on the DIN rail.

  • Controller arrives installed, so there is nothing to align or seat
  • One 10-30VDC supply powers the board and the controller
  • Wire every drive, switch, and relay with a screwdriver
  • Optoisolation between machine wiring and controller logic
  • E-stop and charge-pump safety handled in hardware
  • Three expansion ports when you need more than 18 inputs and 16 outputs
  • Strong upgrade path from a parallel-port or USB controller

UC300ETH Controller Highlights

  • Ethernet motion control: RJ45 connection to the PC, direct or through a switch. Motion timing lives in the controller, not in Windows.
  • Up to 6 axes: X, Y, Z, A, B, and C with slaved-axis support in the control software.
  • Up to 400kHz step frequency: Headroom for high microstepping and fast rapids.
  • 5 IDC26 LPT-compatible ports: 49 inputs and 36 outputs in total, with Ports 1 and 2 on the C94's terminals and Ports 3, 4, and 5 on its expansion headers.
  • 2 analog inputs and 2 analog outputs: Available on the C94's analog header.
  • UCCNC, Mach3, and Mach4: Native UCCNC support; Mach3 and Mach4 through the UC300ETH plugin.

C94 Breakout Board Highlights

  • Screw terminals for everything: Axes, inputs, outputs, relays, spindle, E-stop, and power.
  • 18 optoisolated inputs: 5-24VDC, NPN or PNP sensors, switches, and probes, each with a status LED.
  • Three relays: Two for spindle control and one general-purpose relay, NO and NC contacts, 2A at 125VAC or 60VDC.
  • PWM-based 0-10V spindle speed control: Isolated spindle-circuit supply generated on board.
  • Four 60V/2A open-collector outputs: Drive 24V relay coils and solenoids directly.
  • Safety in hardware: E-stop terminal on the enable line, microcontroller-based safety charge pump, and a driver-fault ERR input.
  • Three IDC26 expansion ports: Add relay boards, more breakout boards, or an MPG pendant.
  • DIN rail mountable: With the DIN Rail Support for C94, one support carries the board and the controller.

Best Applications

  • New UCCNC control cabinets for CNC routers and plasma tables
  • Mach3 or Mach4 upgrades from parallel-port or USB motion boards
  • DIY CNC router builds on NEMA 23 and NEMA 34 steppers
  • Plasma tables with an external torch height controller
  • Laser and engraving machines that need relay and PWM control
  • Mill and lathe retrofits on step/direction stepper or servo drives

Technical Highlights

  • Motion controller: UC300ETH-5LPT, installed on the C94
  • Breakout board: C94 UC300ETH Multifunction CNC Breakout Board, Rev. 2
  • PC connection: RJ45 Ethernet
  • Software: UCCNC, Mach3, Mach4
  • Axes: Up to 6, step and direction on Port 1 terminals
  • Step frequency: Up to 400kHz
  • Inputs on board: 18 optoisolated, 5-24VDC
  • Outputs on board: 12 TTL (5V, 50mA, 400kHz) on Port 1 and 4 open-collector (60VDC, 2A) on Port 2
  • Relays: 3, NO/NC, 2A at 125VAC or 60VDC
  • Spindle control: PWM-based 0-10V analog output for VFDs

  • Expansion: 3 IDC26 ports (LPT3, LPT4, LPT5) and 1 analog header
  • Power: Regulated 10-30VDC at 2A minimum for the complete assembly; the board generates the controller's 5V
  • Mounting: DIN rail with the DIN Rail Support for C94, or standoffs. Dimension drawing in the user's manual

Important Compatibility Notes

  • Power the assembly from one regulated 10-30VDC supply (a 24V DIN rail supply is typical). The C94 supplies the UC300ETH's 5V, so no separate controller supply is needed.
  • Mach3 and Mach4 need the UC300ETH plugin and a license. UCCNC needs a license tied to this controller.
  • The analog header is not isolated and is limited to 0-5V.
  • Drives, motors, power supply, VFD, spindle, switches, E-stop button, and wiring are not included.
  • Set the TTL/open-collector jumpers to match your drive inputs before powering drives.
